Gulbranson, 38, confirmed the news of his own departure during an Instagram Live on Tuesday but did not share details as to why he was leaving.

He started the nearly 15-minute livestream by telling fans that he ‘wanted to address the elephant in the room’ after being bombarded by emails and messages on social media.

‘I’m not going to be on Summer House this year,’ revealed the multihyphenate, who first joined the cast in the series’ fourth season in 2020.

He went on to express that he’s ‘extremely thankful for the last three years of being on the show’ and that he is going to miss his Summer House co-stars, who will be reconvening in the Hamptons for season seven.

‘I’m actually extremely, extremely bummed I’m not gonna be able to spend the summer with them. It breaks my heart, but I know they’ll have a good time and we’ll be in touch.’

As to the reason for his sudden departure, Gulbranson stated that he ‘can’t answer the “why”‘ and that he is ‘not going to get into details’ at this time.

He did note that he would have ‘loved to have been a part of’ season seven, though.

Gulbranson’s fellow booted castmate Denver made a brief appearance during the actor’s candid Instagram Live but stayed mum about his own departure.

The 31-year-old signed on for Summer House in season six following his stint on the franchise’s spin-off Winter House in 2021.

Like his involvement in Summer House, Denver’s presence on Winter House was cut short after it was revealed he would not return for the show’s planned second season.

Wach, who was also a fresh addition to season six, also opted to stay silent on the matter.

Instead the 31-year-old hunk published a cryptic Instagram post on Tuesday, where he stated that he felt as though life had recently ‘thrown me a curveball straight to my face.

‘At first I didn’t handle it in the best way, shutting myself in physically and emotionally. Even fitness, my passion, took a backseat to a point where it took all my willpower to get out of bed or leave the house,’ he explained.

But ‘after a few weeks with some help from some friends,’ Wach is ‘learning to take some time to self reflect and take a step back, something extremely hard to do living within the NYC hustle and bustle lifestyle.’

Included with his candid caption was a photo of Wach from last year, which he said he was using as ‘a goal to strive for.’

Bravo’s Summer House premiered its first season on the network in 2017.

The reality show follows a group of friends who have ‘spent their weekends from Memorial Day through Labor Day in one of the most exclusive beach areas on the East Coast.

‘These professionals may keep it together during the week, but as soon as they hit the beach on the weekend, they let loose in a big way that is exclusive to this high-end lifestyle,’ the synopsis concludes.

Though Bravo has yet to announced the season seven Summer House cast, last season’s crew included Lindsay Hubbard, Kyle Cooke, Carl Radke, Amanda Batula, Danielle Olivera, Paige DeSorbo and Ciara Miller.

The season six reunion took place in May, with producer Andy Cohen serving as mediator/interviewer.
