Ahead of Thursday’s $100million Powerball Lotto draw, Sunrise host Natalie Barr has revealed that she had a massive win herself.

The journalist was speaking about the $100million draw on-air with her co-host Matt ‘Shirvo’ Shirvington, who then brought up her Lotto win.

He explained that after a recent Lotto draw, Nat was credited in the win, even though she only won a very small portion of the total figure.

‘Nat has the auto-pick where it just repeats,’ Shirvo said on Thursday morning’s show.

‘And she’s credited because she won like 900 bucks last time — wasn’t the 100 million.’

Nat confirmed this, saying: ‘$930! A few weeks ago!’

Shirvo said he hasn’t yet bought his ticket for the megadraw tonight, but plans to do so as soon as possible.

Nat then joked: ‘Do it during the ad break, or maybe during sports!’

Sports presenter Mark Beretta was shocked by this snubbing, saying: ‘Woah, woah, no one else does anything during sport!’

The $100million up for grabs in this Thursday’s Powerball’s draw is the biggest prize pool of the year and second largest in Australian history.

It’s been six Powerball draws since the last division one winner was called and the Lotto has estimated that up to half of Australia’s adult population could fork out for a ticket this week in hopes to break that streak.

With a total of $154,152,386.88 having been claimed on winning tickets this year alone, if there is only one division one winner for the latest draw that number will almost double.

‘If just one person scores the entire $100m prize on Thursday night, they’ll not only receive a substantial boost to their bank account just in time for the new financial year but also be crowned the second biggest Australian lottery winner ever,’ the Lott’s James Eddy said.
