Sunrise hosts are left red-faced after Cash Cow winner uses a VERY rude word live on-air

You can’t say that on TV! Sunrise hosts are left scrambling as Cash Cow winner SWEARS live on air after scoring the $50,000 prize

The hosts of Channel Seven breakfast show Sunrise were left red-faced on Monday when a viewer blurted out the word ‘bulls**t’ after winning the Cash Cow giveaway.

The competition winner, a woman named Angela, was so ecstatic to learn she’d won $50,000 she forgot you’re not supposed to swear on live television.

Co-anchors Natalie Barr and David ‘Kochie’ Koch looked embarrassed by the gaffe, but newsreader Edwina Bartholomew declared it was her ‘favourite’ ever reaction to a Cash Cow victory.

The outrageous moment came after Natalie, 53, asked Angela what she planned to do with her prize money.

‘Angela, when people answer and they say, “I don’t know”, do you always say, “Oh, come on”?’ she asked.

After a brief pause, Angela unexpectedly exclaimed: ‘Bulls**t!’

The Sunrise crew burst into laughter, with Edwina and sports reporter Mark Beretta doubling over in amused disbelief.

‘Angela’s my favourite winner ever!’ Edwina chortled, clapping her hands with glee.

‘Okay, whatever!’ Natalie laughed.

It’s not the first time Seven has suffered a live TV mishap involving swear words.

In October last year, The Morning Show ran a segment about surfer Layne Beachley to promote an upcoming episode of Better Homes and Gardens.

During the house tour, Layne’s motivational white board, which was filled with swear words, was shown on screen for about four seconds.

Whoops! It's not the first time Seven has suffered a live TV mishap involving swear words, as there was a similar gaffe during a segment on The Morning Show in October last year involving surfer Layne Beachley and host Johanna Griggs

The board contained the word ‘F**KED’ in capital letters, along with the word ‘s**t’ and two iterations of ‘bulls**t’.

Nobody seemed to notice the gaffe, with Johanna innocently narrating the footage to The Morning Show hosts Larry Emdur and Kylie Gillies.

Sunrise airs weekdays from 5:30am on Seven
