‘Guess who’s back!’: Sunrise Weatherman Sam Mac’s notorious online troll returns to tell him how horrible he looks on the breakfast show
Sam Mac’s infamous online troll Carol has made a comeback.
And she’s now giving the Sunrise weatherman a lecture on his fashion choices and facial appearance after he appeared on the Channel Seven breakfast show on Wednesday.
Sam took a screenshot of Carol’s comment and posted it on his Instagram, along with a picture of how he looked this morning.

‘You looked like something the cat dragged out today,’ she wrote.
Carol targeted Sam’s clothing choices of a green long-sleeved shirt, navy pants and white shoes, writing: ‘That bloody awful green top is horrible, just not your colours, no sleep, no shave.’
‘I think your girlfriend has got you into those colours,’ Carol continued. ‘You are a blue or pink boy.’

The back and forth comments between the duo have raged on since January 2019, when she sent Sam her first trolling comment criticising his, once again, choice of a green shirt on the Sunrise set.

In his book, Accidental Weatherman, and in a News article, Sam went into further detail on how he confronted Carol over her trolling in February of that year.
After communicating with each other, they both agreed to meet when the crew got the green light to shoot in the Central Coast.
The producers then blindfolded Carol as the weatherman emerged dressed in a fluro green morph suit and army jacket – her favourite colours.
Sam recalled that, ‘Carol was in complete shock. Or she’s dirty green with envy. We give each other a big hug.’ He then added she was, ‘funny and sweet.’
