Aussie NFL fans can expect to catch a highly competitive Super Bowl on Monday kicking-off at about 10:30am AEST (pictured, Super Bowl 2023)
When does the Super Bowl start?
The final game of the 2023-24 season will kick-off at 10:30am AEST and can be watched for free on Seven or on ESPN and KAYO.
However, pre-game entertainment starts about 15-20 minutes beforehand with country music star Reba McEntire performing the USA’s national anthem while Post Malone and Andra Day are set to perform ‘America the Beautiful’ and ‘Lift Every Voice and Sing’ respectively.
The game is expected to finish at about 2pm AEST.

Eight-time Grammy award winner, Usher (pictured), will headline the half-time show at about 12pm and be on stage for about 13 of the 30 minute-long show
Who can you look out for on the field?
For those who may not be big fans of the NFL but need a couple talking points during the game, the Kansas City Chiefs will be versing the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl for the second time in the last five seasons.
The Chiefs are led by future hall-of-fame quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight-end Travis Kelce who both won last year’s Super Bowl and beat the 49ers in 2020’s Super Bowl.
The 49ers feature all-star running back Christian McCaffrey and surprise quarterback Brock Purdy who was gifted the nickname ‘Mr Irrelevant’ for being picked last in the 2022 draft but has since bloomed into stardom.
Bookies are tipping the 49ers to take home the Lombardi Trophy this year having been the team-to-beat all season while the Chiefs struggled for form.

Who will be headlining the half-time show?

His smash-hit ‘Yeah!’ is tipped to be the opening song of the show.
While it’s Usher’s first time headlining the festivities, he appeared on stage with the Black Eyed Peas in 2011 as a surprise guest.
When does the half-time show begin?
The half-time show is expected to start at about midday but can be subject to change given the length of the first-half.
The show is expected to last about 30 minutes, with Usher only planned to be on stage for about 13 minutes.
