Foreign playboys parade their luxury supercars outside one of London’s most exclusive hotels as supercar season comes to a close in the capital.
Each year the bling kings show off their motors in the most upmarket areas of city between July and August, and this year the eye-catching cars were spotted parked outside the luxurious Dorchester Hotel in Mayfair’s Park Lane.
Cars on show this year include a £240,000 all-white Rolls Royce Wraith, a black and white Bugatti Veyron worth around £1.5million, a purple McLaren 540c worth £130,000 and a white Lamborghini Aventador which cost around £270,000.
Rich owners will happily pay a small fortune – in excess of £20,000 for a return journey – for their metal marvels to be flown around 3,000 miles, and often leave them parked in some of the capital’s most desirable spots.
Despite their impressive top speeds, many of the cars rarely get out of the gridlocked London traffic and spend much of the time parked outside Harrods and other luxury boutiques.
In recent years neighbours across the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea have complained about the annual displays, with millionaire boy racers flaunting their high-powered machines.
