A man has suffered serious burns after his jetski exploded at his house.
Emergency crews were called to the home on Laycock Street, Surfers Paradise, following reports of a jetski explosion at about 3pm on Saturday.
The man, aged in his 20s, sustained burns to his face and arms.

He was taken by ambulance to Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Queensland Ambulance wrote about the accident on Twitter: ‘Paramedics including Critical Care Paramedics and the High Acuity Response Unit are currently on scene at a private residence on Laycock Street following reports of a jet-ski explosion at 2:58pm.’
‘Please avoid the area if possible.’
It is not yet known how the accident unfolded.
