She’s the daughter of movie stars Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise.
And on Monday afternoon, Suri Cruise, 13, was spotted stepping out with mom Katie Holmes in New York City while carrying Margaret Atwood’s novel The Handmaid’s Tale.
Suri and Katie’s outing comes after the teenager’s dad Tom and her half-brother Connor spent time together in London for a Scientology conference.

Suri carried the book in one hand while she tried to keep up with her mom during their Monday outing in midtown Manhattan.
The book, which was released in 1985, is about a town in the near future that is in a totalitarian state after the United States government is overthrown.
The plot of the book is about a woman named Offred in a world where the population has dwindled due to a decline in birth rates stemming from radiation and environment pollution.
She is one of many women who have a healthy reproductive system so she has to forcibly be assigned to produce kids for men of the ruling class.

Suri cut a casual figure in leggings with a pink sweater, adding Adidas sneakers; Katie rocked jeans with a white T-shirt, adding a black coat.
The actress, 40, finished off her look with orange and black sneakers.
Meanwhile, Tom, was seen stepping out with Connor in London to take a ride on a helicopter on Saturday.

According to People, Tom, 57, and Connor, 24, likely attended a Scientology event in London.
The magazine’s insider said: ‘Tom and Connor stepping out in London was a big deal. It was the same weekend that Scientology does their annual gathering called the International Association of Scientologists (ASI).’
The source said that while Tom has gone to the event ‘numerous times,’ this ‘appeared’ to be Connor’s first time he went.
Tom and then wife Nicole Kidman adopted Connor during their marriage, along with daughter Isabella ‘Bella,’ 26.
People’s source said that Connor and Isabella ‘grew up in the church of Scientology, they’ve been members since they were kids.’
Adding that they are ‘completely dedicated Scientologists just like Tom.’
Katie initially began dating Tom in 2005, and seven weeks into the relationship, they were engaged.
Their Scientologist wedding was held at the Castello Orsini-Odescalchi in Bracciano in November 2006, seven months after Suri was born.
Katie filed in 2012 for a divorce that was finalized only 10 days later, with Suri’s mother retaining primary custody, though Tom could visit, according to People.
