The suspect continues to walk toward the bus and fires two more times as the black pickup truck drives away.

Though parts of the shooting are hard to see in the video, a few gun flashes can be seen as the suspect fires near the door of the bus.

Police said the elementary school student was sitting in the back of the bus at the time and has been reunited with family members.

Minneapolis Public Schools said the child ‘will be receiving follow-up support’ from the school system.

‘We have resources on our website to support students and families in processing traumatic events. If you feel your child needs additional support, please reach out to your school, which has staff who will be happy to help,’ the statement read.

Lilly has been charged with assault, according to online records from the Hennepin County Adult Detention Center where he is being held without bail.
