It is easily one of the most iconic films of the 1990s, scoring competing Best Actress Oscar nominations for its two leading stars.
And Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis kissed on the lips as they attended a special drive-in charity screening of their now-classic film Thelma And Louise on Friday evening, on the occasion of the movie’s 30th anniversary.
Susan, 74, and Geena, 64, could barely contain their excitement as they sat in front seats of the aqua 1966 Ford Thunderbird and put on an amorous display for the cameras.

The duo wore adorable black tops that said ‘She’s my Thelma & I’m her Louise,’ or the reverse, for the event, which raised partial proceeds to benefit The Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media and L.A. Regional Food Bank.
The covid-conscious, drive-in event was held outdoors at the Greek Theater in Griffith Park, in Los Angeles, California.
Both Susan, 74, and Geena, 65, looked luminous in denim jeans and similar auburn-toned hair worn down at their shoulders.

The Academy Award winners perched at the driver’s seat of an aqua 1966 Ford Thunderbird, similar to the one featured in the brilliant Ridley Scott film, and posed for a selfie just like the one featured on the Thelma & Louise poster.
Also present was screenwriter Callie Khouri, who won an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay for the movie back in 1992.
Thelma & Louise also scored a Best Director nod for Scott, nominations for Cinematography and Editing, along with the twin Best Actress nods for both Sarandon and Davis.

Chief among them are incredible supporting performances from Harvey Keitel, Michael Madsen and most notably Brad Pitt, in the role that made him a Hollywood megastar.
Thelma & Louise was released on May 24th, 1991.

According to the event’s official Eventbrite description, a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales benefitted The Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media and L.A. Regional Food Bank.
