Susie Bradley’s father tells her new ‘husband’ Billy Vincent he’s become an instant dad

‘That’s your baby now!’ The father of MAFS bride Susie Bradley tells her new ‘husband’ Billy Vincent he’s become an instant dad and warns that his ‘wife’ will ‘eat him alive’

It’s his wedding day but Billy Vincent has been hit with some serious curve balls.

On Monday’s episode of Married at First Sight, the father of his new ‘bride’ Susie Bradley, 25, told Billy that he wasn’t his ‘wife’s’ type.

But that was only the start –  Susie’s dad, Steve, dropped the bombshell that Susie has a daughter.

Pulling Billy aside, Steve stammered:  ‘You know she’s got a kid. You know? She’s got a kid. You know now. That’s your baby now’.

The 28-year-old model and personal trainer was shocked by the revelation, but took it in his stride, being more concerned that he isn’t Susie’s type.

Steve went on to tell Billy he felt he was, ‘too soft for my daughter, you know? I was watching you all the time. She’ll eat you alive’.

Billy, who was raised by a single mother, tried to laugh off the tough Hungarian-born father’s insistence but Steve added: ‘Trust me! She will.’

Crestfallen, Billy said to camera: ‘I kind of got a little bit of a heads up from my bride’s dad that I wasn’t the man that she expected, or wanted.

‘I’m, like, full of self-doubt now. And it’s a killer that she might think that I don’t have those tools and I’m not equipped properly to build a life with.’

Susie, a cosmetic nurse, eventually told Billy that she has a three year old daughter, creatively named Baby, and pretends to act surprised.

Despite her reservations, Sunshine State-based Susie decided to give the aspiring model and barista a go.

‘I’ve been around bad boys previously, and I’m definitely attracted to a bit of edge, a sort of bit of naughtiness in appearance and sort of personality,’ she said.

She added: ‘So, maybe him being, you know, different and more of a gentleman, it will work, and he will be what I need.’
