A group of bystanders were seen rushing to the aid of a Kansas driver who rammed into the back of a city transit bus after suffering a seizure at the wheel.
Video footage shows the dramatic moment the 41-year-old driver of an SUV rear-ended a Wichita Transit bus in the middle of a busy road on Tuesday.
The black SUV was seen accelerating against the bus, spinning its tires and causing a loud screeching sound after the man’s foot reportedly got stuck on the gas pedal.

Police said the man, who was not named, suffered a medical episode before the collision.
Several witnesses who were standing nearby quickly sprung into action, with one man running up to the vehicle to try to pull the driver out of his car.
Two men were eventually able to open the passenger door and brought the driver to safety.
The man only suffered minor injuries, police said. The 51-year-old female driver of the bus was uninjured, according to local news station KSN.
Video of the incident was shared on social media by bystander Rene Brand who praised the kind strangers for their heroic actions.
‘There are heroes all around us. These guys most likely saved lives today. This could have been really bad. Thanks to our everyday heroes among us. Prayers,’ he said.
