A hotshot swim coach who faces 15 years in jail after he was found with more than 1,200 sickening photos and videos of children being molested has admitted to secretly filming young boys in a pool changeroom.

Mark Andrew Sendecky, 39, pleaded guilty to possessing and controlling child abuse material using a carriage service at Sydney’s Central Local Court on September 1 following his arrest on March 22.

According to documents filed in the District Court on Friday and seen by Daily Mail Australia, the accomplished athlete used Dropbox, Twitter and a Snapchat account associated with the email username ‘sniffsniff16’ to access links to the vile footage.

Detectives uncovered 23 videos on the file-sharing platform, which range from amateur recordings to professional productions featuring boys between five and 15 being forced to perform depraved acts on each other and grown men.

One recording showed four boys between seven and 14, who did not know they were being filmed while undressing in changerooms at a swimming pool.

Police also found 1227 disturbing images of children between the ages of six and 12 being abused.

When officers tried to access the Dropbox folder again on March 29, a week after his arrest, they were unable to access the account.

The former coach has spent the last six months behind bars on remand and is due to be sentenced next month.

Sendecky is a talented swimmer who previously competed in the National Swimming Championships and has won a range of competitions throughout his career.

He was a coaching and marketing director at Masters Swimming Victoria between 2014 and 2018 and was a part of Melbourne-based LGBTQI+ swim team, Glammourhead Sharks.

In 2018, he moved to Sydney where he joined LGBTQI+ swim team, Wett Ones.

Masters Swimming Victoria said Sendecky had ‘no role with children or adolescents while he was associated with our organisation’ in a statement.

‘MSV s saddened by recent media reports about our former member and coach, Mark Sendecky, being charged with offences,’ it said.

‘Mr Sendecky resigned from his volunteer role as Coaching Director with MSV in 2018. He has had no further association with MSV since that time.

‘The safety of our members is a priority for MSV.’

Each organisation scrubbed their respective social media pages clean of images and posts featuring the disgraced coach since his first court date in May.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Glammourhead Sharks and Wett Ones for comment.

Sendecky was arrested at his home in Erskineville, in Sydney’s inner-west, in March after police discovered the files, which dated back to November 2019.

His sister-in-law previously told Daily Mail Australia she knew the case had ‘something to do with the internet and underage children’.

She said the allegations were ‘pretty upsetting’ for her family.

A source previously told Daily Mail Australia Sendecky was a ‘quiet person’ who kept to himself after moving from Melbourne to Sydney three years ago.
