- Clip shows beach-goer fail to recreate iconic New Providence beach scene
- Rather than emerge smoothly like Casino Royale’s 007, he is knocked to floor
- After the wave crashes down around him, he floats face-down to the shore
This swimmer’s moment of sun-kissed glory was brought crashing down around him when he tried to outrun a huge wave.
Confidently emerging from the sea, he looks confident in his attempt to recreate Daniel Craig’s famous scene in Casino Royale.
But whereas the 2006 James Bond film features the spy suavely striding onto the New Providence beach, this swimmer’s efforts to reach the shore intact are dashed.
The swimmer is stopped from emerging with a suave dignity as the huge wave rises around him
A woman laughs as the would-be James Bond struggles to outrun the giant tidal wave
Finally the water comes crashing down around him and throws the man face-down into sand
As he runs toward the sand, the wave continues to increase in size until it reaches tidal proportions.
It then crashes down around him, knocking the swimmer of his feet and face-first into the water.
He is reduced to floating slowly toward the sand in a less than dignified fashion.
