Vanessa Tran, the elderly woman’s daughter, said her family were just hardworking business owners who didn’t do anything to deserve the frightening attack.

‘We just go about our day to day business, we’ve had a really hard year,’ she told Seven News.

‘It’s been ongoing for about 20 months now. This is the fourth time each time a little bit more brazen.

Ms Tran said it was the second time the house had been firebombed with a bottle filled with kerosene set alight.

The vandal also spraypainted similar messages around the neighbourhood, such as 'Tran 72 is merder (sic)' referencing the family's house number

‘Third time they got graffiti as well and it was the same kind of writing and misspellings,’ Ms Tran said.

Ms Tran believed the campaign of harassment might be connected to brutal murder of drug dealer Hung Robert Tran, 24, on July 2, 2016.
