Sydney man dies after dumped at hospital with stab wounds

  • A man who was dumped at Mount Druitt hospital with stab wounds has died
  • the 22-year-old was dropped off by a taxi at 5pm on Wednesday afternoon
  • He had severe stab wounds to his stomach and head and could not be saved 

A man who was stabbed in the stomach and head and then dropped off by taxi to a western Sydney hospital has died. 

The 22-year-old was left to die out the front of Mount Druitt hospital after he had multiple stab wounds to his stomach and chest.

Investigations led police to a unit in a Blacktown suburb. 

A 56-year-old man was later arrested at the apartment in Mueller Place in the suburb of Tregear.

The unit became a crime scene and the man was taken by police to Nepean hospital.

Witnesses or any one who has any information about the stabbing are asked to step forward and contact police.
