Sydney man who ‘looked pregnant’ shares weight loss journey on Facebook

A father has documented his amazing weight loss journey by posting two amusing pictures to Facebook. 

Adam Keighran, from Sydney, said he ‘looked like he was pregnant’ when his weight ballooned.

But he was able to shed 53kg by quitting smoking, finding a wife and becoming a dad, he said.

He posted a 2011 picture with his top off and current picture of him outside with his newborn baby. He captioned the images: ‘No, I didn’t give birth’.

The pictures show him holding his new born baby in the after shot and joked that he wasn’t pregnant in the first photo, despite his large stomach. 

Explaining how he made the transition, he wrote: ‘I just made some important life decisions in 2011. 

‘I lost 53kg, quit smoking, became a qualified personal trainer, found a wife and then SHE had a child.’

Having gone through a weight loss journey himself, Mr Keighran now helps others make the same steps towards a better life by running personal training sessions.

‘I couldn’t be prouder of them all,’ he wrote.
