Sydney mother and her two children disappear from Shalvey in Blacktown

A search is underway for a mother and her two young children who went missing on the way to school drop-off in Sydney’s west.

Brittney Inwood-Hamilton, 26, and her two children, Noah Hamilton, 6, and Ruby Hamilton, 4 have not been heard from since Monday morning with grave fears for their safety.

The family was last seen leaving a home on Hennesy Crescent in the Blacktown suburb of Shalvey at about 8am Monday.

Loved ones raised the alarm with police when they never made it back home from the school run and were unable to be reached.

Ms Inwood-Hamilton’s sister Kiarna took to social media to ask for help.

‘Was meant to be taking kids to school but they never arrived,’ she said.

‘If anyone has seen or heard from my sister Brittney or her kids Noah and Ruby please message me.

‘Very out of character, my sister and her two children are missing.’

NSW Police also put out a call for the public’s help saying they ‘hold concerns for all three missing people due to their ages and this being out of character’.

The family is known to frequent the Blacktown, Guildford, Wilmont, Quakers Hill, Shalvey and Mt Druitt areas.

Brittney is described as of Caucasian appearance, 170cm tall, with a thin build, shoulder-length brown hair and blue eyes. She also has a rose tattoo on her arm and another tattoo on her wrist.

She was last seen wearing black pants, a black jacket and white shoes.

Noah and Ruby are described as being of Caucasian appearance, with light-brown and brown hair and blue eyes.

Police say the family is thought to be driving a red 2007 Toyota Kluger SUV with the NSW registration BBY63U.
