Police officer has his nose broken in a vicious brawl at a beachside Sydney pub – before a woman and two men are charged

Three people have been charged after a police officer was allegedly assaulted and had his nose broken during a brawl at a beachside pub.
The constable was trying to break up a fight between patrons at a pub in Coogee, Sydney, at 9pm on Saturday when he suffered facial injuries.
Police were allegedly called as staff were concerned about the behaviour of a number of pub-goers.

The officer was taken to Prince of Wales Hospital to treat his broken nose.
A 21-year-old man was also injured in the alleged brawl and taken to the same hospital by NSW Ambulance for a shoulder injury.
The man, from Queensland, was then released into police custody and charged with affray.
A 30-year-old man has been charged with the possession of cocaine, assaulting police and affray.
A 20-year-old woman from Clontarf was also charged with affray.
All three were refused to appear at Parramatta Bail Court on Sunday.
