The horrific depths of Sydney’s postcode war have been laid bare in a chilling video posted to social media showing a gang of thugs stabbing a teenager as they taunt him.

Six masked intruders, armed with a knife, baton and an iron rod, stormed the helpless 14-year-old’s South Penrith home where he lives with his mother, in December.

The thugs stabbed him multiple times in the face, arm and leg as they filmed the horrific assault.

The Harbour City’s turf war has seen teenagers and young men beaten and stabbed to death by different street gangs who associate themselves via the postcode they live in.

Although these gangs operate at the bottom end of the criminal pyramid lacking the same level of sophistication of other underworld players, their sickening acts of violence can be equally as brutal.

Postcode gangs are also famous for flaunting their status online through ‘drill rap’ and by posting images of themselves with weapons, designer clothes and expensive jewellery.

The disturbing footage shows the boy lying on a mattress with blood streaming down his body as his attackers stand over him.

‘Look at this pussy, look at this pussy,’ one of the thugs is heard saying.

‘What? What? What?’ the boy responds as one of the men forces him down and holds a knife in a threatening stance.

The group demand the teen boy support the Cabra(matta) Boys gang as they continue to hold the blade over him.

‘Say Cabra on top lad,’ the attacker sitting on him says.

‘Cabra on top,’ the boy replies.

One of the gang members calls the boy a ‘pussy’ again as the victim protests that he doesn’t know who the men are.

The six men leave the house and speed away in two getaway cars. CCTV footage captures them driving away.

The young boy desperately calls out to his mother to take him to hospital after the attack.

‘Please mum, take me to the hospital A.S.A.P, please mum, please mum, I’m shaking,’ he says.

The victim is eventually taken to a nearby hospital and is treated for his injuries.

Footage of the vicious assault was recorded by one of the gang members on their phone. It  was posted to social media. Police have still not charge anyone over the attack
