Australian rockers Gang of Youths were criticised by some football fans on Sunday after they took to the stage at the NRL Grand Final.

But the Let Me Down Easy hitmakers were not willing to take a swipe from former AFL player Brendan Fevola about their pre-game appearance.

After the radio personality, 37, insulted the ARIA-Award winning band on Twitter, their drummer hit back with a savage response.
