A 40-year-old woman was arrested on Tuesday morning by the NSW Joint Counter Terrorism Team.
The woman was confronted by police at 7.30am and taken to Parramatta for questioning, according to police.
The woman is alleged to have financed terrorism, officers said.

Her arrest is the result of the ongoing investigation Operation PEQIN, which has investigated the activities of several people alleged to be involved in terrorist activities since 2015.
Police officers will host a press conference about the woman’s arrest on Tuesday afternoon.
