Talita von Furstenberg attends Met Gala 2021 with boyfriend and grandmother Diane von Furstenberg

Talita von Furstenberg was among the glitterati who walked the red carpet at Monday night’s Met Gala, walking arm-in-arm with her boyfriend, Rocco Brignone — and wearing a dress by her grandmother Diane von Furstenberg, naturally.

The 22-year-old glowed in a pleased Grecian gold pleated dress with a plunging neckline and a sweeping skirt, which she worked to perfection for photographers.

The budding designer, who has her own line under her grandmother’s label, cozied up to her longtime boyfriend for photos, and also posed for several shots with DVF herself.

Talita accessorized her gown with a pair of gold platform sandals, dangling earrings, and a chunky bracelet set with glistening stones.

Makeup artist Tobi Henney did her face, as well as her grandmother’s, using products from Clarins, while hairstylist Michael Silva was responsible for her locks.

Her date for the evening was her boyfriend Rocco, whom she has been dating since at least 2019. Like Talita, Rocco has a high-society background, coming from an Italian banking family that owns and runs the Costa Careyes private estate resort in Costalegre, Mexico.

The pair have traveled the world together, spending time in Italy and Greece, among other destinations.

Rocco let Talita take the spotlight for the evening, dressing up in a simple black tux.

While Talita didn’t wear a face mask to take photos on the red carpet, her grandmother did.

The fashionable grandmother-granddaughter duo got ready together, too, with their glam squad sharing behind-the-scenes photos of them on Instagram.

Talita has attended the Met Gala with her grandmother in the past.

In 2018, they matched in light blue dresses, and in 2019 Talita wore a pink design covered in 3D flowers.

Meanwhile, Talita was just one of many A-list offspring to score invites to the fashionable event this year, the first Met Gala since the pandemic.

Madonna’s daughter Lourdes ‘Lola’ Leon was among the attendees, as was Cindy Crawford’s model daughter Kaia Gerber, Vice President Kamala Harris’ stepdaughter Ella Emhoff, and Victoria Beckham’s son Brooklyn Beckham, who attended with fiancée Nicola Peltz.

Talita was born Princess Talita, the eldest daughter of interior designer Alexandra (née Miller) and her ex-husband Prince Alexander von Furstenberg, son of Diane and her ex-husband Prince Egon von Fürstenberg.

Her royal heritage comes from her grandfather, German aristocrat Prince Egon, who was married to Diane for 14 years. The fashion designer and the royal, who passed away in 2004, had two children during their marriage: Prince Alexander von Fürstenberg — Talita’s father — and Princess Tatiana von Fürstenberg.

However, it is from her grandmother Diane that Talita inherited her love of fashion, and the rising style star is now following in the designer’s footsteps.

She is being groomed to one day take over the Diane von Furstenberg business, and has her own label with the brand. TVF for DVF.
