TALK OF THE TOWN: Is Olivia still Wilde about young Harry Styles? Actress-turned-director cuts a lonely figure while out shopping in London
Her shopping bag says ‘two peas in a pod’ – but we have to wonder if Olivia Wilde and Harry Styles are still quite so cosy. I ask because the actress-turned-director cut a lonely figure while shopping in Barnes, South-West London, last week.
Rumours have been swirling in celeb-land that her romance with the former One Direction star may have a short shelf life thanks to their ten-year age gap.
The couple reportedly began dating when 37-year-old Olivia cast Harry, 27, in her film Don’t Worry Darling, last October.
The pair were pictured three months later holding hands. But given that Olivia looked so glum on her shopping trip, maybe they now only have split peas in Barnes…

Celebrities spouting nonsense – they’re all at it!
Charlotte Olympia Dellal – the shoe designer granddaughter of billionaire property tycoon ‘Black’ Jack Dellal – thinks she may be reincarnated from a ‘past life’… and she doesn’t mean ancient Egypt – but the 20th Century!
‘Maybe I came from the mid-century era in a past life,’ the 39-year-old muses. ‘It really resonates with me. It’s a look I do in most things without knowing it – whether it’s how I print my business cards, to how I do my hair.’
Sorry, Charlotte, but a taste in retro 1940s fashion isn’t proof of reincarnation!

Model turned academic Lily Cole has published a thesis about ‘how social media addiction leads to murder’ and announced: ‘I have been on a social media diet in recent months. I have been checking myself: Why am I posting? What am I posting?
‘How am I trying to make you feel by sharing? Somehow silence has felt more comfortable.’ Where did she share these insights about cutting down on social media? Instagram of course…
In a rare twist on my theme, I have found a celebrity who admits she spent years talking nonsense.
Describing her pre-sobriety lifestyle, Lily Allen said she’d often ‘sit in someone’s living room till 7am, talking absolute s***, chewing their ear off and being embarrassing and offensive.’
I’d say that qualifies the 35-year-old singer for a spot in this week’s column!
