Hugh Grant has revealed he suffers from an unfortunate ailment usually confined to much older men – piles!
The actor made the shock confession at a BFI Flare screening last week of his 1987 film Maurice, which was directed by James Ivory.
Hugh says that during filming, ‘James borrowed my toothpaste after taking a nap in my room and accidentally used my haemorrhoid cream.
‘There were towels all over the room which he used to get the cream out of his mouth.
‘He was traumatised.’
