Speaking with This Is Mothership’s Gemma Rose Breger and Samantha Silver as part of the mummy bloggers’ Sofa Sessions, she said: ‘[Sophia] always does everything on her own timetable, when it’s right for her.’

Tamara explained she knew she was coming close to no longer breastfeeding, as Sophia was becoming ‘less and less’ interested.

She revealed: ‘It just stopped over summer, she was just done. I never wanted it to be a big song and dance like, “Today we’re going to stop.” I felt like it was getting less and less and I knew it was going to be done soon.’

‘There have been so many people that have written to me and said to me, “You made us feel like it’s OK to carry on and you really helped, thank you for normalising it” – so all I take away from my experience is the positive.

‘The haters – whatever – they’re always going to be haters.’

She explained that after realising the reaction her breastfeeding photos would generate, she saw posting them as ‘something positive’.

‘I believe in it so I’m not going to be bullied into posting about it,’ she added.
