Tamara Ecclestone slips into minidress for date with Jay

She’s put her daughter Sophia first since becoming a mother three years ago.

And Tamara Ecclestone decided it was finally time to focus on her husband Jay Rutland on Wednesday’s episode of her new ITV2 reality show Tamara’s World, going on her first date night in three years.

The 33-year-old socialite fretted over leaving Fifi at home – and almost bailed on Jay’s big art gallery launch event.

Tamara – who famously said she has never spent more than six and a half minutes without Sophia since her birth – went back and forth over whether her daughter would survive a few hours without her.

Despite the fact the toddler would be under the watchful eye of their mansion’s 50 full time staff, Tamara worried she would be lonely.

‘I should be certified insane. What if she wakes up, I’m the only one who can comfort her?’, she said.

Cute: It was plain to see the affection between Tamara and Jay 

However, she decided to bite the bullet and leave the house with Sophia safely asleep in bed, getting all dolled up for the occasion.

The glamorous brunette slipped into a low cut black minidress, confessing that she was keen to impress Jay with her sexy ensemble.

‘Maybe now Fifi is getting a bit older, it’s time for me to focus on Jay’, she said.

She said: ‘Maybe now Fifi is getting a bit older, it’s time for me to focus on Jay’

‘I’ve got two things I’m worrying about – Fifi waking up or Jay approving of my outfit.’

And Jay certainly approved of her new look, his jaw dropping in amazement as she walked into the room.

‘I was so surprised, she looked amazing’, Jay declared.

During the episode, Tamara was beside herself as she prepared to be separated from her tot for the first time ever.

And while Tamara, who continues to breastfeed her daughter, could see the benefits in her child venturing out in the wide world, she admitted that she wasn’t quite ready to let go just yet.

The daughter of Formula One billionaire boss Bernie Ecclestone told Jay: ‘I’m worried that they’ll make her wipe her own poo. She’s not ready for that… This is so awful!’ 

Speaking earlier in the day as the day of reckoning dawned, Tamara revealed: ‘I’m feeling exhausted, I’ve hardly slept… I’m worried, but at the same time I’m trying to keep things as normal as possible for Fifi… Today is an awful day. Today is a tragedy.’ 

Jay added: ‘Today is Sophia’s first day at school. She’s still only diddy and she is our little baby, so packing her off to kindergarten is tough, especially for Tamara, because she spends all of her day with Sophia.’
