Tammin Sursok has announced the birth of her second child, a daughter, with husband Sean McEwen. 

The Pretty Little Liars star, 35, revealed the happy news with fans on Thursday.

Taking to Instagram, the Australian actress gushed over her newborn, saying: ‘She’s here. And she’s perfect.’

Tammin added a red love heart to the post, which got almost 90,000 likes in two hours.

Just five days ago, Tammin shared a snap of herself relaxing and showcasing her bump, saying the picture would probably be the last picture she takes before she gives birth. 

The former Home and Away star pulled up her jumper to expose her bump and captioned the Instagram post: ‘Probably last preggo (sic) shot. Women are queens. Let’s do this.’

On Wednesday, Tammin revealed her emotional struggle after falling pregnant following two back-to-back miscarriages. 

Speaking on People’s Dr Berlin’s Informed Pregnancy podcast, the brunette shared what it was like to be expecting after her miscarriages. 

She admitted it had been difficult for her to grow close to her baby after the heartbreaking experiences.  

‘I didn’t connect to this baby for so long. I think my husband [Sean McEwen] did too. I was like, ‘Are you connected to this baby?’ And he was like, ‘I’m trying,’ Tammin said.

‘And then it’s almost like, when the baby turned, I felt like we were communicating. Until she could survive on her own [was] when I started to go, ‘This is real.” 

The 35-year-old explained that although her experiences were ‘traumatic’ and ‘sad’ she wanted to share her story in an effort to help other women.

‘It took me a long time to share it. But if I can make one person feel less alone … Because it happens so much, I think it’s 1 in 4 [women],’ Tammin said.

In September last year, the Pretty Little Liars star announced that she was 21 weeks pregnant in an emotional Instagram post.

‘After a bumpy, emotional and magical journey we are finally here. We couldn’t feel more grateful. Baby due in January,’ she said.
