Twenty employees at the Tamron Hall Show have been fired in what’s being called a ‘giant blood bath’, DailyMail.com can reveal.
Senior producers and audience team employees were all fired Thursday, while the show’s host Tamron Hall appears unscathed by the mass layoff.
‘Around 20 people lost their jobs yesterday at the Tamron Hall Show. It was a giant blood bath,’ production sources tell DailyMail.com. ‘[Tamron] is living her best life on her personal Instagram while people are losing their livelihoods.’
‘Her name is on the show so she would’ve known what was coming, yet there she is celebrating date night, the night before 20 people no longer have an income. Talk about tone deaf,’ sources said.

The production sources, who spoke to DailyMail.com on condition of anonymity, say it’s a ‘slap in the face’ that big earner Tamron has not taken a pay cut to salvage their jobs.
‘What really sucks is Tamron is earning millions of dollars a year, yet these team members aren’t. Why couldn’t she take a pay cut to keep everyone employed during this really difficult time? It is so unfair.’
‘Nothing about wishing people well or thanking them for their hard work. It’s pathetic and giant slap in the face,’ they said.
‘What’s even more disgusting is on the show’s official Instagram page, they posted a video of Tamron making comfort food with Carla Hall,’ they added.
‘How nice of them, I’m sure all the fired staff went home and whipped up the grilled cheese to feel better about no longer paying their bills.’
The show’s official Instagram page posted the video which raked up 7,00 views with the caption: ‘ICYMI: Carla Hall & Tamron Hall Make Comfort Food ICYMI: We all know how to make a grilled cheese but TRUST US when we say @carlaphall makes the best… watch to learn how!’

The former MSNBC anchor and co-anchor of the third hour of the Today show left NBC in February 2017 after the network announced that it was bringing in former Fox News host Megyn Kelly to take over Today’s third hour
A spokesperson for the show said in a statement to DailyMail.com: ‘This story is entirely inaccurate. There were no layoffs or firings; rather, the show is making behind-the-scenes changes and chose not to renew some staff. We appreciate everyone’s contributions to our first season.
‘Change is not uncommon for a show between seasons. It remained a top priority to ensure our entire creative team remained employed during the season in the midst of the pandemic.
‘We have been humbled and overwhelmed by the viewer response to recent shows, including coverage of COVID-19 and our episodes focused on the national conversation on race. We are assembling an even bigger team for season two and beyond, on the heels of three Emmy nominations.’
The anticipated Tamron Hall Show launched in September.
The launch of Hall’s show came with a big push from top network executives, after she called off her original deal with Harvey Weinstein’s company in the wake of the #MeToo allegations against him.
In January 2019, Disney tapped award-winning producer Bill Geddie to executive produce the show.

NBC offered to renew Hall’s contract despite her losing her hour on Today, but she opted to exit the job altogether.
The newlywed and mother of one-year-old son Moses addressed why she left NBC during her appearance at the 2019 Vulture Festival in Los Angeles.
‘They wanted something that wasn’t me,’ Hall told moderator Tracy Clayton. ‘It wasn’t that I did not know my value. It’s that others did not know my value; it was an easy decision, because there was no other decision to make.
‘At some point in all of our lives, the goalpost keeps getting moved to the point it’s invisible, and I’m not into being Charlie Brown to anyone’s Lucy, so I wasn’t going to keep kicking that football.’
