In an Instagram post uploaded on Wednesday, Tara admitted to ‘hitting’ ex Sam, 31, at their engagement party, but alleged he ‘pushed her’ to do it and insisted her actions were ‘out of character’.

Her admission came after Sam made extraordinary claims that Tara subjected him to physical and verbal abuse before their break-up in June.

He accused Tara of violent behaviour leading up to their split in a bombshell interview with Woman’s Day on Monday, prompting her to respond online.

In another Instagram post acknowledging Sam’s claims, Tara alleged that her ex-fiancé was ’emotionally abusive’ during their six-month relationship.

Amid the accusations, Tara cryptically changed her Instagram bio on Thursday.

It now reads: ‘Making mistakes is better than faking perfections. BE REAL. There isn’t enough real in this world.’

Daily Mail Australia have contacted Tara for comment.
