Target has released a trendy winter cardigan to help Aussies stay warm during the cooler months, and it bears a striking similarity to a designer label’s $2,500 version.
The store, well known for stocking budget fashion pieces, is celebrating the success of its Lily Loves Fluffy Knit Cardigan ($30) which has already sold out in its smallest and 3XL sizes.
The coverup, which features a button through front for easy pull on and a cropped length, is made from recycled fabrics resembling designer label Khaite’s $2,500 version.

Target head of design Bec Biggins told the Courier Mail while prices were affordable, the retailer’s fashion lines were ‘carefully curated’.
‘We have a refined style direction that allows us to maintain… elevated essentials that are made to last beyond a season,’ Ms Biggins said.

The response from other brides has been similar, with one saying: ‘I wore the same to my wedding in pink – they made the outfit’.

While the original shoes are said to be small in size, calling for women to size up from their regular choice, the Pink Inc’s option are considered true to size by reviewers.
The Secret Gold Metallic Sandals are also an option for the same price, with an ankle strap attached for extra support.
