A pair of jeans by Australian department store Target is on track to becoming a cult classic as it’s revealed one in eight women own a pair.
The Sophie jean, a straight-legged denim number featuring a mid-rise waist, currently retails at the Australian chain for $30 a pair.
The jeans come in a range of colours from a classic blue through to an inky black, a variety of hem lengths and finishes and are offered in sizes ranging from 6- 18.

Those with an eye to fashion have been seen sporting a three-quarter length version featuring a distressed finish.
The item works incredibly well dressed up with heels and paired with an oversized flowing top.
Shoppers will also be pleased to know the Sophie, described as ‘great fitting jeans without the price tag’, are also excellent everyday jeans, especially those in a classic indigo finish.

This item, priced at $16, comes in sizes ranging from 7 through to 16.
