A Utah high school teacher has been busted for allegedly having sex with a 15-year-old girl in his car but he claims he thought she was 19.
Joseph Scott Harris, 57, was arrested after police found him in the car with the underage girl in West Haven, north of Salt Lake City, on Friday.
Authorities said they were called to investigate a suspicious car when they found the pair partially clothed inside the vehicle.

During a police interview, the teenager admitted that she had met with Harris multiple times for sex since the beginning of the year.
Harris, who is a skilled and technical sciences teacher at Logan High School, told authorities he had met the girl online.
He said he thought she was 19 but admitted that she looked young, according to his arrest report.
Harris has been teaching at Logan High for the past 30 years and has been suspended while the police investigation is carried out
Harris told police the pair had met three times for sex.
He has been charged with six counts of felony unlawful sexual activity with a minor.
The school district has suspended him while the police investigation is carried out.
