A Massachusetts mom was so desperate to get an ambush makeover, she asked her son to reschedule his college tour in order to make it happen.
Tiffany Zides, a 46-year-old teacher from Wellesley, Massachusetts, was joined by he husband, Evan, and son, Owen, when she was plucked from the crowd for a makeover on the Today show Thursday.
Although Owen was scheduled to have a college tour that morning, she admitted that she asked him to postpone it so she could get brand new look before heading back to work.

‘I am so psyched for this makeover,’ she told Today fashion expert Jill Martin. ‘As you see, I need it, and tomorrow’s my first day back at teaching, so I am so excited.’
Today correspondent Jenna Bush Hager couldn’t help but joke that Tiffany’s son put his life on hold for her when she called the mom on stage to show off her new look.
Tiffany looked incredible as she strut across the studio in a bright blazer and sleek black pants.
Evan and Owen both said, ‘Wow,’ when they removed their eye masks and checked out the results of Tiffany’s makeover.

After turning around and looking the mirror, Tiffany asked: ‘Is that me?’
The teacher’s long blonde waves were trimmed and dried straight while celebrity hairstylist Louis Licari gave her highlights an update.
‘Her highlights were white and frosty looking, and what I did is I made them this more-natural golden tone,’ he said, noting that her hair was left long, ‘which is a very body-slimming haircut on her.’
Louis added: ‘It changed her whole shape.’

Jill, meanwhile, strategically dressed Tiffany in a red blazer, black trousers, and black and white plaid heels, and outfit that she could wear on the first day of school.
