Teen trapped in Brooklyn turnstile trying to avoid paying

  • A teen tried to to climb over the vertical turnstile at the Court Street-Borough Hall station in Brooklyn, New York, on Tuesday morning when he got stuck
  • The trapped teen tried to pull the spinning bars back and climb in between them so that he didn’t have to pay the $2.75 to get on the train 
  • He had to be freed by a station worker 

A teenager wound up caught in a pickle when he was caught in a Brooklyn subway turnstile.

The mischievous boy tried to to climb over the vertical turnstile at the Court Street-Borough Hall station in Brooklyn, New York, on Tuesday morning when he got stuck. 

‘It’s really never a dull moment during the morning commute,’ said jeffmonfleury, who posted the hilarious scene on Instagram.

‘Some motherf*****s just really like to ice skate uphill!!!! 

‘I know fares are going up, but why did you think this would’ve ended well?’

The trapped teen tried to pull the spinning bars back and climb in between them so that he didn’t have to pay the $2.75 to get on the train.

It is unknown if he was able to get into the station. 

MTA officials did not comment on the incident.
