A 15-year-old girl remains in a critical condition in hospital after a double-decker she was travelling on crashed into a bus station in south London today.
The crash, where 19 others were injured, is being treated as a suspected drink-driving incident and the driver has been taken into custody.
The route 198 bus hit into two vehicles before ploughing into West Croydon bus station this afternoon after veering off Station Road at about 12.20pm.
The girl is fighting for her life at a south London hospital after initially being treated at the scene. Her family have been informed of the accident.

The bus collided with another bus, a car and a bus shelter at West Croydon Bus Station in south London, Scotland Yard believes.
Scotland Yard also said the driver of the bus was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and taken into custody at a south London police station.
Transport for London (TfL) has warned that routes 60, 64, 109, 157, 198, 250, 264, 289, 407, 410 and 455 are all diverted from the bus garage due to the crash.
Videos on social media showed a huge emergency service presence at the scene, with the bus’s windows completely smashed.
A London Fire Brigade spokesman said two people in the car were treated for shock.
Twenty people were on board the bus when it crashed and 17 of them suffered some form of injury.

A Met Police spokesman said: ‘At this early stage it is believed a route 198 double decker bus had been in collision with a car, another bus and a bus shelter at the location.
‘Officers, London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance all attended the scene.
‘A girl, believed aged 15 and a passenger on the route 198 bus, was treated at the scene for injuries before being taken to a south London hospital. She remains there in a critical condition. Her next of kin have been informed.
‘A number of other people were treated at the scene for minor injuries. A man – the driver of the bus – has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving and remains in custody at a south London police station. Enquiries into the circumstances remain ongoing by officers from Croydon.’
A TfL spokesperson said: ‘We are aware of an incident involving a route 198 bus at West Croydon Bus Station.
‘We are supporting the emergency services and will work with them and with the operator, Arriva, in their investigation into this incident.’
