A ‘fitness freak’ and online trader known as ‘Crypto Baddie’ has spent one night behind bars after he was caught selling MDMA, ice and cocaine to a Christmas party bus.

Tristian Allen, then 19, pulled up in his Audi next to the celebratory vehicle on December 19 last year near Cronulla pub favourite Northies and made a deal with some of the people on board before unmarked officers pulled the teen over.

A search revealed the CrossFit enthusiast had an array of drugs on him including 13.94g of MDMA, 5.17g of ketamine, 1.43g of cocaine, two Valiums and $95 cash, the Daily Telegraph reported.

Magistrate Joy Boulos described Allen as a ’20-year-old clean skin’ with ‘no priors’ but said his behaviour was ‘simply not on.’

‘You’re a fitness freak, but you’re out there suppling drugs and you don’t know what’s in them – rat poison?’ Ms Boulos said.

Ms Boulos told Allen he ‘took a risk’ that contradicted his healthy lifestyle and said  she ‘was seriously thinking of sending you to jail’.

‘You don’t know what’s in these drugs – a number of people who take these drugs die, and that’s the risk you’re taking, contributing to the death of someone or going to jail today,’ Ms Boulos said.

The Sutherland Local Court also heard that Allen is a cryptocurrency trader and CrossFit enthusiast who is set to compete in the global CrossFit Games Semi-Finals in Brisbane.

Police facts tendered to the court stated that Allen had gathered electronic transfers and cash from friends to buy the drugs, the Daily Telegraph reported.

Allen told police he earned $100,00 last year as a cryptocurrency trader before losing about $75,000 of it in late 2020.
