A 19-year-old was critically injured on Thursday in a hit-and-run rollover crash in Florida.
Jackson Kelley was driving along US 41 when a minivan turned in front of his black Audi.
The van was attempting to turn into a gas station when it clipped the back of Kelley’s vehicle and he swerved into the other lane to avoid hitting the other driver.

The car finally comes to a stop outside the Lantern Inn and Suites where shocked witnesses rush over to help the teenager.

Ohio native Don Fuchs was seen in the surveillance video running from his hotel room to help Kelley.
He told Fox 13 that the crash ‘sounded like a big bomb went off’.
‘I wanted to make sure he was all right, get him out of there before it caught on fire or anything,’ he said.

The driver (in minivan) immediately drove off after the incident. Officers with the Florida Highway Patrol are still searching for the driver
According to authorities, Kelley was unconscious and partially ejected from the car.
His vehicle has also hit two other cars parked in the hotel parking lot.
First responders rushed Kelley to Sarasota Memorial Hospital where he remains in critical condition.
The driver of the van immediately drove off after the incident. Officers with the Florida Highway Patrol are still searching for the driver.
