  •  An 18-year-old man has died following a crash in New South Wales on Saturday
  •  He had been driving a car carrying three passenger when it reportedly rolled 
  •  A 17-year-old girl and two boys, aged 14 and 12, were left trapped for hours 
  • All three passengers were taken to Armidale Hospital with serious injuries

An 18-year-old man has been killed and three young passengers have serious injuries following a crash on Saturday night.

The car the four teens were travelling in reportedly rolled on Castledoyle Road at Castle Doyle, about 11km east of Armidale. 

Emergency crews were called to the scene around 5.15pm.

The driver, 18, was taken to Armidale Hospital, where he later died. 

 A 17-year-old girl and two boys, aged 14 and 12, were trapped in the vehicle for a number of hours before being freed.

They were taken to Armidale Hospital with serious injuries.

Officers from New England Police District, with assistance from the Crash Investigation Unit, will investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.

A report will now be prepared for the Coroner.
