Teenagers filmed vandalising Box Hill Melbourne Anzac memorial

A pair of teenage boys have been filmed by their partners stealing floral wreaths from an Anzac Day memorial in Melbourne.

The Snapchat video clip shows two teen girls laughing as the boys run toward them carrying stacks of wreaths taken from the Box Hill memorial.

‘The boys are bringing us flowers,’ the girl filming can be heard saying as she giggled.

‘Onya c***,’ the same girl can be heard yelling repeatedly before telling one of the boys they were ‘so sweet’ for laying the wreaths at their feet.

One of the girls is then seen placing a wreath on her head and posing for the camera.

The footage was posted to Facebook on Sunday by a viewer and has garnered hundreds of outraged comments.

‘These scums decided to go to a Box Hill gardens and steal flowers that friends, family, even strangers have laid for these beautiful veterans that have fought for our country and passed away!’ the girl who posted the video on Facebook wrote.

‘This is f***ing disgusting and it makes me sick that someone would do that…this is putrid and so disrespectful not to mention that these girls are laughing about it and think it’s so funny…this is beyond disrespectful and I can’t put into words how sick, angry and f***ing upset this makes me feel.’

The floral wreaths have since been placed back on the memorial.

Victoria police told 9News they had not been aware of the vandalism but are investigating on Tuesday.
