Her three-year-old daughter, Jamyia, was asleep in the car as Taylor approached the the front door of the home.

‘We walk to the door, as I’m walking to the door all I hear is rubber burning! We didn’t even make it in the house! It was something that happened that fast,’ Taylor told WHO-TV.

Taylor said it appeared that two teenage boys were in the driver’s seat and front passenger seat. Taylor then ran after the car screaming as it drove down the block.

Sgt Paul Parizek said the teens drove the car about half a block when they realized the child was in the backseat and ditched the car. They fled on foot as neighbors tried to chase them down.

The three-year-old child was not hurt Parizek said. ‘The whole thing was over in about 30 seconds,’ Parizek added.
