Telv Williams’ ex says he’s only on Married At First Sight for fame

He has been billed as a ‘big-hearted, hard-working Aussie bloke’ on Channel Nine’s Married At First Sight.

But Telv Williams’ ex-partner Amy slammed the FIFO worker on Monday, saying he joined the ‘social experiment’ just to become famous.

‘He’s on the show to find fame, not love! He had everything he could have hoped for – a loving partner, kids and a happy home,’ she told Woman’s Day.

Amy, 32, who shares two children with machinery technician Telv, also made explosive claims that he still wants her back.

‘He called me three weeks ago and just said, “I’ve got something to tell you and I’m probably going to regret it, but I love you’,” she said.

Amy says she has not met Telv’s on-screen wife Sarah Roza, 39, but claims to have heard him use unflattering terms to describe her.

‘Sarah seems like a lovely girl, I just hope she doesn’t end up getting hurt by Telv,’ she added.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Channel Nine for comment.

So far on Married At First Sight, Telv and Sarah’s marriage has been depicted as one of the most happy and stable in the experiment.

However, it is understood they are no longer together – despite continuing to post ‘couple’ photos on social media.

Their split was exposed on Thursday after Daily Mail Australia published a leaked email Telv wrote earlier this month to a MAFS producer.

In the email, Telv claimed that he refused to have anything more to do with his ‘crazy’ wife and that he had blocked her number on his phone.
