- Temperatures will hit up to 44C on both Friday and Saturday in Western Sydney

- Other capitals are only in the 30s the whole week with fire weather expected
Sydney is in for a scorching weekend with another heatwave forecast to push midday temperatures into the mid-40s.
Penrith, which last Sunday was the hottest place on Earth at 47.3C, will hit 44C on both Friday and Saturday after reaching 40C on Thursday.
Other parts of the city’s west won’t be much better with Richmond at 44C, Springwood at 42C, and Camden at 43C.

The mercury will lower by Sunday, only reaching 38C in Penrith, but it’s likely to feel worse as rain ramps up the humidity.
But the weather will be much cooler closer to the coast with the CBD only 33C on both days and the airport reaching 34C.
It will be so hot in the west the beach with be 15C cooler with Bondi only forecast to be 29C on Friday and Saturday and 26C and raining on Sunday.
Cronulla will be a little warmer at 31C both days and the northern beaches will get to 33C and 29C on the days either side.

Perth will only get to 33C by Saturday but Adelaide is expected to have its own heatwave topping at 41C on Thursday.

Perth is forecasting highly unseasonably storms in the next three days and has a list of severe weather and flood warnings for the northern interior of WA.
