Tennis champion Nick Kyrgios reveals his surprising celebrity crush

Nick Kyrgios revealed his first celebrity crush during an interview with the Tennis Channel’s Confessional Cart on YouTube on Thursday.

The 27-year-old tennis champion turned bashful when asked the question, but didn’t hold back in revealing he was a huge fan of Anne Hathaway.

‘I f**k with Anne Hathaway a bit. Anne Hathaway, I think she’s sexy,’ he said of the 39-year-old actress.

He went on to list the roles he liked her best in, revealing her portrayal of Catwoman in 2012’s The Dark Knight Rises was a favourite.  

‘I think, um, Catwoman… You know, she’s Catwoman. If you haven’t seen The Intern, you should watch The Intern. She’s sexy there, too,’ he said.

Nick has been dating girlfriend Costeen Hatzi for about six months, and in a recent interview with The Daily Telegraph revealed she’s ‘definitely the one’.

‘I am in love with her and she is an amazing person and an amazing support for me,’ he said. 

‘She is my best friend literally. We go through ups and downs together but I love her to bits.’

Nick recently bought a $1.6million home in Sydney to be closer to Costeen, 21.

He also spoke of his appreciation for his girlfriend, saying she is supportive of him both on and off the tennis court. 

‘I feel like I am just happy, anyone that finds their person that gets them and you are in love, it is good for anyone, not just for me,’ he said.

‘I guess for me as an athlete, just to know that I have got that person there that can overcome and have that shoulder to lean on whenever I need, that is what I love about her.’
