An elderly tennis coach has been arrested after allegedly repeatedly sexually abusing a girl, 12, while travelling with her to tennis tournaments.
The 71-year-old man is accused of sexually abused the girl at locations across New South Wales between July and December of this year.
He was arrested at a reserve in Lindfield on Sydney’s north shore at about 1.15pm on Wednesday after police received reports the girl had been allegedly sexually abused by a man known to her.

He was arrested at a reserve in Lindfield on Sydney’s north shore at about 1.15pm on Wednesday
The accused was taken to Chatswood Police Station and charged with 11 counts of allegedly intentionally sexually touching child and seven counts of allegedly intentionally doing a sexual act with a child between 10 and 16 years.
Police will allege the man sexually abused the girl across the state, including while travelling for tennis tournaments.
He was refused bail to appear at Hornsby Local Court on Thursday.
Investigations are continuing.
