Tennis star Eugenie Bouchard, 24, still looking hot date uploading seductive snap

Tennis bombshell Eugenie Bouchard is still searching for her perfect match despite being inundated with hundreds of offers from eager men following a raunchy Instagram post.

The Canadian, who is here for the Australian Open, sent social media into meltdown last Thursday when she told her legions of fans she was ‘kinda bored and lonely’ in her Adelaide hotel room.

‘DM me,’ she wrote to her followers alongside a selfie.

The 24-year-old told The Daily Telegraph she was bombarded with messages after the post.

‘I couldn’t look at my DMs (direct messages). It was a constant stream. It was ridiculous.’

But she said she doesn’t mind people introducing themselves to her, and the thought that some may be too intimidated by her success ‘makes her even lonelier’.

‘Approach me, I won’t bite,’ Ms Bouchard said.

She went on to say her ideal man would be somebody who is both taller than her and more muscular.

‘Someone who is confident and funny and has a good dress sense,’ she added.

Among the messages, some offered to ‘shout her a schnitty’ at the pub.

‘Just putting some down lights in my house and I could use a hand if you’re not doing anything,’ another wrote.

Others used the opportunity to mock the City of Churches.

‘Being bored and lonely is nothing unusual in Adelaide,’ one said, with another adding: ‘The first time I’ve ever wanted to be in Adelaide.’

Asked how many direct messages she’d received, Bouchard said: ‘Dude, you don’t wanna know… I’m amazed.’

The 24-year-old turned professional nearly ten years ago, but has in recent times garnered a huge following and become a fan-favourite of world tennis.

Earlier in the tour, Bouchard made an incredible gesture to fan who spent 20 hours making a giant red banner for her.

Jeffrey Kinder, 22, turned out to Bouchard’s match against Julia Goerges at the ASB Classic in Auckland, New Zealand.

The fan brought along with him a huge homemade banner reading: ‘Win or lose, Genie forever.’

While the tennis star lost out to her opponent 6-3 3-6 6-7, she was cheered by the banner which Mr Kinder had gone to extreme lengths to make.

A photo of Mr Kinder at the match went viral online and caught the eye of Bouchard herself, leading her to retweet the photo with the caption: ‘His name is Jeffrey and he’s my new boyfriend……..’

Speaking to the NZ Herald after the match, Mr Kinder revealed it had taken him a total of 20 hours to make the red banner and had even waited outside Bouchard’s hotel last week hoping to catch a glimpse of her before the tournament.

‘She called me over, she was looking in the crowd and asked where I was… she appreciates my support,’ he said.

‘She’s going to add me to a Twitter group and she might get me some tickets for Sunday’s doubles final.’

And Bouchard kept her promise to the 22-year-old, securing him tickets to the ASB Classic final.

Mr Kinder thanked the tennis player over Twitter, saying: ‘This is something I will cherish forever!!! Thank you so much @geniebouchard for your kindness.’

This is not the first time the tennis pro has gone above and beyond for her fans.

Bouchard vowed if the Atlanta Falcons triumphed over the New England Patriots in then she would go on a date with student John Goehrke, after he had tweeted the Canadian, ‘if patriots win we go on a date?’, to which the tennis star replied ‘Sure.’

She came good on her word and flew Goehrke to New York to watch an NBA match.

Speaking to the Kansas City Star, Goehrke said: ‘I thought maybe there was a chance she would respond, but I thought there was no chance she’d actually agree to it.’

Bouchard was previously asked how the date went, and she gave a thumbs up: ‘Awesome, he’s normal. He picked me up at my hotel, like a gentleman, and we came over here.

‘He bought me a nice little gift. We enjoyed the game courtside and he’s a normal fan.’
