The terrifying moment a white sedan was chased by four masked men before the driver was trapped has been caught on camera.

A black Toyota Prado and white Mazda sedan weaved through traffic and narrowly missed other cars and pedestrians through the streets of Rivervale and Burswood in Perth about 7pm on December 1. 

Four masked men emerged from the black SUV before trapping the driver of the Mazda and smashing his car with hammers.

CCTV footage showed the cars driving over a traffic island at a busy roundabout.     

The four men allegedly trashed the white car with hammers and caused significant damage to the windows and panels. 

The driver of the white sedan fled towards the Great Eastern Highway and was chased by the men in the black car. 

Police say the attack on the vehicle was not random. 

Two of the four men, Mohamed Ahmed Hirsi, 26, and Ebraheem Mohommed Assad, 24, have been charged in relation to the attack. 

Police are still searching for the other men in the black vehicle.

Assad, from Redcliffe, is accused or threatening to kill, endangering the life or safety of a person and criminal damage. 

Hirsi, from Huntingdale, is charged with endangering the life or safety of a person and criminal damage. 

Both men are due to appear in Perth Magistrates Court in February and March.
