A quick-witted driver is lucky to be alive after dash cam footage captured the moment an allegedly stolen SUV came screaming towards her at 130km/h.
The white Toyota Kluger, which went missing from a house in inner-city suburb in Darwin, was filmed driving on the wrong side of a busy road Friday morning.
When the SUV eventually came to a crashing stop not long after the dashcam encounter, two teenagers aged 16 and 17 years old were arrested.

Footage captured by the dashcam shows the car travelling down Bagot Rd, a main road connecting Darwin’s CBD with the Northern suburbs.
Within seconds, the driver changes into the fortunately vacant middle lane and a car speeds past, oncoming, through the lane she was just in.
The footage was recorded at 9.25am on Friday morning, according to the Facebook post.
Only five minutes later, the car was found smashed in Parap, the suburb the car was stolen from four hours earlier.
The husband of the driver of the dash cam told Daily Mail Australia that his wife is very shaken up over the near miss, and had only recently come off her P-plates.
‘Very fortunate she pays very good attention when driving. This could have been fatal and ended in so many dangerous scenarios,’ he said.

Two teenage boys were charged, the 17-year-old appearing to be the one behind the wheel.
It isn’t the 17-year-old’s first run in with the law, as one of his charges is one count of breach of bail.
Both are scheduled to appear before the Youth Justice Court on Monday.
The driver’s hopes that a proper punishment is handed down, saying that similar incidents happen too often.
‘It’s not getting any better something needs to change very soon before lives are lost.’
