Terrifying video emerges of a diver swimming underneath a giant alligator in the Florida everglades

An adventurer decided to get up-close to an alligator in the Florida Everglades.
Jordan Wylie took it upon himself to film footage as he swam underneath a gator which appeared to floating in the warm waters of the swampy national park.
In a video lasting just over 30 seconds, the daredevil diver first tilts the camera on himself to show him laying on the bed of the watercourse.

The daredevil diver was just inches away from the alligator as he swam right alongside it
The footage begin with the diver swimming underneath the reptile before moving alongside
He then moves the camera up to show the motionless gator mere feet away from him.
Diver, Wylie, who is a former soldier and describes himself as an extreme adventurer, gives a thumbs up to the camera as he slowly moves underneath the reptile.
After reaching the tail end of the creature, he then appears to swim right alongside the alligator with the hind claw of the reptile almost brushing the camera lens.
Wylie then gives the camera the ‘okay’ sign as the heart-stopping footage comes to an end.
At one point, the lens of the camera seems to be perilously close to the gator’s hind leg
