Terry Crews says he’d jump at the chance to star in sequel to 2004 Wayans brothers comedy White Chicks

In 2004, Marlon and Shawn Wayons hit the big screen in blonde wigs and makeup as the stars of the comedy White Chicks.

And now, according to Terry Crews who also played a part in the movie, a sequel could be in the works.

During the America’s Got Talent Season 14 red carpet kickoff at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium earlier this week, Crews told US Weekly that he was all up for another go-around as basketball star Latrell Spencer.

In White Chicks, Crews’ character had a crush on Tiffany, the alter-ego of Marcus Copeland, played by Marlon Wayans.

Asked about the possibility of being in a second film, Crews exclaimed: ‘I would love one!’

He added: ‘I’m staying in shape for White Chicks 2!….. I will never get out of shape — you know that, right? I will be 75 and say, ‘Here we go, I’m ready to go!”

‘I will never, ever get out of shape because that movie’s going to happen one day,’ he concluded.

Sequel time: 'I would love one!' Crews said when asked of the potential sequel. 'I'm staying in shape for White Chicks 2!'

The original White Chicks centered on two disgraced FBI agents, Kevin Copeland (Shawn Wayans) and Marcus Copeland (Marlon Wayans).

They both go undercover as ‘white chicks’ to protect the Wilson sisters (Maitland Ward, Anne Dudek) from a kidnapping plot.

White Chicks earned $70.8 million domestic and $113 million worldwide from a modest budget of $37 million.

Marlon Wayans also discussed the possibility of a sequel during an appearance on MTV’s TRL earlier in March.

‘I don’t know, but there’s been some rumblings happening, and a lot of people want us to do it, so me and my brothers have been talking,’ Wayans said.

‘So if things go right, we hope to do a White Chicks 2,’ Wayans added

Crews also discussed his new gig as the host of America’s Got Talent, taking over from departing host Nick Cannon.

‘I have to say, it’s kind of like I was made for this show. … I love the energy, I love how loud they’re singing, the crowd — and it’s something I never ever got in TV and movies, but I did get it in the NFL, because you make a catch, you make a throw, and that’s the reason why you play,’ he said.

‘So when I get out there and I hear that, and I get to dance for it and there’s no concussions, no knee injuries, I feel like, ‘Oh my God, this is a dream job.”
